Aim: The course will give an overview of the various tree-ring parameters, other than ring widths, used in studies of past climate variability, environmental change, forest dynamics, etc., i.e. density and stable isotopes. The aim is to improve the students knowledge in the statistics and statistical tools used in dendroclimatology. Topics will include cross dating, standardization, quality control of data and climate reconstructions.
